  1. Hi friend! My local liquor store did not have the sparkling red you recommended, so they suggested Serena Sweet Red Wine as a replacement. Same grape, no bubbles. Thoughts??

    • Hi bibbler28, thanks for asking! I am looking at a description of this wine on another website, and based on the description I would say yes, go for it. I’m pretty sure it’s still made from Brachetto grapes, will still have basically the same sweetness/acidity/flavors, and it is lightly “frizzante” which is Italian for semi-sparkling, so there is carbonation/bubbles but they will be small and it won’t be a huge amount (Rosa Regale is also frizzante). Plus, looks like it’s priced a few dollars less, so that’s nice. Let me know how you like it, cheers! 🙂
